Package and Skid-Mounted Pump Sets
Simplex Packaged Pump Sets
and Skid-Mounted Pump Sets (SPS/SKS Series) are fully integrated
systems consisting of pre-engineered, pre-plumbed, and pre-wired
pumps, starters, controls, tank monitors, tank level controls,
alarm panels and accessories. The SPS Series features
a full enclosure and the SKS Series utilizes a skid design.
Each set is equipped with a leak detection basin. Field plumbing
connection ports are conveniently accessible.
The SPS-10 and SKS-10 Models are designed for relatively
simple single pump applications to 17 GPM, 1 HP.
The SPS-25, SPS-55, SKS-30, and SKS-50 Models are
designed for relatively large and/or complex single pumps, or
progressively complex or large duplex pump applications.
Simplex Packaged Pump Sets are intended for use with fuel oil
or lube oil. Do not fill with gasoline. Use with gasoline or
use with any flammable liquids at a temperature exceeding the
flash point of that liquid presents an immediate explosion and
fire hazard. Do not use these pump sets at temperatures exceeding
the flash points of their contents.
The SPS Series features a tamper proof enclosure suitable
for wall or pad mounting indoors or outdoors (see Option 181).
Mechanical and electrical devices are installed in isolated compartments.
Its free-standing cabinet design is a space saver. External ports
are provided for field plumbing connections. Interior space limitations
dictate accessory selection and pump size.
The SKS Series utilizes a traditional open skid design.
Plumbing is hard piped. Its great design flexibility can accommodate
a wide variety of pumps, motors and accessories. This series
is available for indoor installation only.
When requesting a quote, choose the basic components by selecting
a SPS/SKS model and indicate additional components from the Options List.
Packaged Pump Sets can be engineered with Simplex Main
Storage Tanks, Day Tanks and Fuel Supply Systems.
The design flexibility of the Skid-Mounted Pump Sets (SKS
Series) accomodates a wide variety of pumps, motors, and
accessories. SKS Series is available for indoor installation
only.

All base units include standard 2 GPM, 1/3 HP, 115V AC pumps. Add optional pumps and motors as required. All SPS/SKS Pump Sets include containment sump with leak sensor. Standard SPS sets are Type 1 indoor but can be ordered Type 3R (See Option 181). SKS sets are Type 1 indoor only. SPS-10 Series
Single pump to 17 GPM, 1.0 HP. Limited accessories.
SPS-25 Series
Single pump to 25GPM, 1½ HP or duplex pumps to 17 GPM, 1.0 HP. Limited accessories.
SPS-55 Series
Single pump to 35 GPM, 5 HP or complex single or multiple pump sets.
SKS Series
Size and complexity is dependent on available site space. Type 1 indoor installation only.
Specify the Series 420 Pump or the Series 500 Pump for continuous duty applications where the pump runs nonstop for extended periods of time, for boiler feed loop applications, for noise sensitive applications, and for many other industrial pump applications. Viscosity range from 32 to 5000 SSU or greater when slower speed motors are used. For more information click here.
