The Simplex SDE Series Economy
Day Tank is a basic automatic Day Tank intended for applications
which require simple self-refilling. Standard features include
a basic differential level control, 3-point electric level indicator,
0.33HP, 115V AC, 1-ph., 60 Hz, 2 GPM pump plus a tank with ports
and fittings. With the exception of the slim design, all tanks
are UL142 labeled. A limited number of options are available.
Construction
All seam welded, square, atmospheric tank of heavy gauge steel
with internal reinforcements, tested to 5 PSI pressure
Welded flange pipe fittings for fuel return, overflow, vent,
drain
Fuel supply suction drop tube
Heavy gauge steel channel feet with mounting holes
Removable steel top cover

GPM, high vacuum positive displacement gear pump consisting of
two pressure loaded intermeshing, hardened steel, precision ground
gear assemblies within a high strength die cast aluminum housing.
Mechanical shaft seal. Pressure loaded to be self-compensating
for internal wear.
.33 HP, 115V AC, 1-ph., 60 Hz ODP motor, oversized for high starting torque
Motor overload protection
Priming tee and check valve assembly option, consisting of pump priming tee, fuel line priming tee and check valve is recommended (Option # 070)
