Super and Manual Day Tanks
The Simplex SST Series Super
Day Tank, with extensive standard features and more than
125 options, provides a reliable fuel storage and delivery system
for diesel engine generator sets and oil fired boilers. Pump
control, level control, backup level control, level alarms, and
alarm outputs are provided. The standard SST package includes
a UL 142 listed tank, a 2 GPM Super-XL Pump, and a UL 508 listed
SST Controller.
The Simplex SMT Series Manual Day Tank provides basic
storage only, include a manual fuel fill port and a mechanical
level gauge. The standard SMT package includes a UL 142 listed
tank. Limited options are available.
Construction
UL 142 aboveground steel tank all seam welded, square, atmospheric
tank of heavy gauge steel with internal reinforcements, tested
to 5 PSI test pressure
Welded flange pipe fittings for fuel return, overflow, vent,
drain. Submerged fuel oil supply drop tube. Heavy gauge steel
channel feet with mounting holes
Separate mechanical and electrical compartments, each with steel
housing and removable access covers.
Finish
Exterior of tank chemically treated to resist corrosion, primed
and finish painted light gray
Removable equipment cover painted blue
