STATIONARY
...freestanding, forced air cooled with integral cooling fans. These Load Banks are relatively self-contained and have the greatest range of standard capacities. However, by assembling systems of two or more Load Banks, capacity can be virtually unlimited with physical space being the only constraint. They are available as either purely resistive, unity power factor Load Banks or as resistive/reactive Load Banks with lagging/leading power factor load. Many options (anti-condensation, highway trailer mounting, overvoltage protection, etc.) are available to suit additional individual requirements. TRAILER
...consists of up two Load Banks mounted on a specially designed and equipped trailer which conforms to applicable Federal and DOT standards. Single axle trailers are equipped with a dynaMITE or Neptune Load Bank. Up to two Trident Load Banks can be mounted on a tandem axle trailer.

RADIATOR COOLED
...a special form of stationary, resistive, forced air-cooled Load Banks which utilize the air outflow of an engine radiator for cooling of the resistive load elements. Installation is simple and adaptive to site/system conditions in numerous ways, including direct bolted attachment to the radiator, mounting within an air duct, wall mounting over the air outflow opening, indoors or outdoors. Since the design is adaptive to varying site conditions, these Load Banks are ideal for after market retrofit. Many accessories are available from Simplex to simplify installation. LBD-Series - 5KW to 1000KW


WATER COOLED
...are an attractive alternative to air-cooled Load Banks. They are perfectly quiet, cool running, extremely compact and may be installed in otherwise unutilized space. They are virtually maintenance free. The LBW-Series is more reliable and maintenance free than a comparable air-cooled Load Bank due to two principle factors. First, the water-cooled unit can be installed indoors in a controlled environment versus an outdoor installation which is exposed to the elements. Secondly, the water-cooled Load Bank operates at much lower temperatures than an air-cooled unit.
